This yoga class is based upon the fundamental cue “Root to Rise”, which allows us to firmly become rooted before we can extend or expand. This class begins in a supine posture and slowly wakes up the body with breath and body awareness cueing. It then moves through a series of standing postures and proceeds to deep-seated stretches. The class is finished with a gentle and relaxed posture that allows one’s body, mind, and soul to finesse all they have orchestrated during the class.

After finding a lump in my breast and getting a diagnosis of fibrocystic breast, I decided to launch my wellness focus into learning about inflammatory disease processes, to better help myself and my clients. I combined my knowledge of aromatherapy, lymph massage, and energy work to come up with a holistic approach to lymph and breast care. In this workshop we’ll talk about inflammation and its effects on the lymphatic system, with specific focus on the breast and axillary (armpit) lymph structures. We’ll talk about the energetic significance of lymphatic issues and breast disorders, and the importance of nurturing your feminine energy.
Our self-care conversation will touch on therapeutic frequency medicine, anti-inflammatory diet suggestions, essential oils and carrier oils that support lymph decongestion and reduction of inflammation, and other at-home support methods. Next, I’ll lead you through a fully clothed breast and armpit self-massage sequence.
Please note there is an additional $18 charge for this course
Each participant will take home their own breast lymphatic detox oil, to use at home combined with breast self-massage, for optimum breast health through all of the hormonal stages in our lives. I look forward to connecting with you.

Grab your feet and get comfortable as Sabrina introduces you to the practice of Reflexology. Sabrina will lead you through a self-reflexology practice to relax, ground your energy, and pay special attention to reflexes that activate our parasympathetic nervous system and promote our rest and heal response.
There are reflex areas in the feet that correspond to all the glands, organs, and parts/systems of the body. By applying pressure techniques to these reflexes, reflexologists trigger the relaxation response throughout the body. Reflexology relieves stress & tension, improves circulation of lymph and blood, and helps to balance the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of the whole person, promoting the natural ability of the body to heal itself.
The self-reflexology treatment will begin with a warmup foot massage, followed by the solar plexus and diaphragm reflexes combined with deep breathing. We’ll cover the spine, shoulders, specific glands and organs, and then pay some special attention to the digestive system.
You will leave feeling calm and relaxed, with a new self-care protocol to add to your arsenal, complete with diagrams and instructions to lead yourself through this sequence at home.

What is Fascia anyway? Fascia simply put is our connective tissue. The fascial system forms a continuous tensional network throughout the body and envelopes every element including the muscles, organs, bones, nerves, arteries, and veins. Fascia is our ‘organ of structure’ and it largely determines the shape and movement of our bodies. Healthy fascial is highly elastic and resilient and provides a high level of stability during dynamic loading, which in turn provides a high degree of injury-prevention. When the health of fascia is compromised, elasticity and resilience are lost and injuries are sustained more easily. When excessive strain is put on the body, it is the fascia that often adapts to stabilize the local area by shortening, thickening and adhering to neighbouring structures in the body. This will affect the whole body and often results in fatigue, misalignment, discomfort and restriction of movement.
In this class, we will explore somatic movements mostly done lying on your back. These movements hydrate your fascia, assist in healing injuries, strengthen the core and deep muscles of the body and nourish your nervous system. Much research has been done on fascia over the last 10 years and results are fascia-nating! Come learn about this highly overlooked important system of your body.
Bring a yoga mat and foam chip block if you have one. A limited amount of props will be available to borrow.
