Mountain Shadows Full Moon Evening Chairlift Ride SEE ALL

The Eagle Chairlift is noc'turning for the full moon on August 9, 2025 until 11pm! Join us for sunset refreshments on the Eagle View Patio, and then take the lift up to enjoy the view from the Lookout Deck at night. We will have lanterns and paths lit up, but guests are encouraged to bring headlamps and other light sources. Scenic Lift Tickets are $19 for adults, $14 for child/youth/senior and tots 3-6 ride free. Family of 4 is $59.

 

The August full moon is referred to as the Sturgeon Moon, but it also has another name, Mountain Shadows Moon, which is used by the Tlingit people of the Pacific Northwest. Celebrate the changing of the mountain shadows with us and take in the nighttime view from the top of Mountain Washington!
